So on to my project. I used Lori's acorn box. It was quite simple to make.  What is fun about this box, is that not only does it look cute, but it is an open box that you can hide something special in it.  Pull the acorn top and you could hide treats, gift cards or anything you want to send to someone special.  These would look darling as Thanksgiving center pieces, name place cards, or even just a small gift of "thanks".

I used this acorn file found in Lori Whitlock's shop here, cream card stock and Echo Park's Fall Fever collection.  Once put together, I used a tag from the paper collection, added some stickers, the die cut leave, and tied it with some cute twine and ribbon.

Give Thanks

Here is a quick little project to add to the collection... I don't know about you, but we seem to have a lot of Halloween decorations, but come November, we are scrapping to keep things up.  So I came up with this little framed art to help spruce up the place til Thanksgiving...

Supplies needed -

8x10 frame
Printed saying
Pattern paper and textured cardstock
Die cut pumpkins found here

We are thankful....

With Thanksgiving around the corner.... well depends on who you ask.... here in Canada, it is long gone, celebrated the first part of October.  But we still hold our American roots, and are looking forward to Thanksgiving, again.

I thought it would be fun to have a place where our family could express what we are thankful for, because we are surely blessed.  So I came up with this idea.

It's a dry erase board for you random thoughts of thankfulness...

What you need -

8x10 frame (it would be cuter bigger too, if you have space)

Pattern paper

die cut letters or stickers

die cut pumpkins (found here)  

It's even cuter when you let someone draw on it....
